I have another Win10 PC that I don't use much anymore (very slow) but it's the exact same setup as above ie have the same Win10 version and Adobe and that preview works fine.
Change the default app from Adobe to Edge and reverted back, no change Checked for updates on both Windows and Adobe, both up to date Gone into File options in Windows Explorer and done resets and also ticked the "Show preview handlers in preview pane" option. Uninstall Adobe DC, rebooted, re-installed with new download from site and rebooted, no change To preview a file, highlight it and press the Spacebar. Once its installed, you can preview 'certain file types' (the developer doesnt specify which) in File Explorer.
the "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Win Explorer" option under Adobe was ticked, I unticked it, rebooted, ticked it and rebooted, no change How to Preview Files With Spacebar on Windows 10 Open the Microsoft Store and search for QuickLook, or jump right to the QuickLook download page.
For those with a lot of SVGs, this makes it way easier to browse and preview their SVG files in Windows. To enable the ability to view SVG thumbnails in Windows 10 File Explorer, there is an extension you can install called the SVG Explorer Extension. These two builds will have the same KB50. Unfortunately it is not a built-in feature, as it is with the MAC operating system. This is what I've tried so far from a google search: Microsoft has just released new Windows 10 21H1 and 21H2 preview builds for Insiders in the Release Preview channel. I've tested other programs such as Word, Excel, Pictures, text files - they all work fine in preview. No updates were installed at this time that I recall (although checking my update history I see KB4483234 installed the day before I shut down) but now I've turned my PC on, no errors or alerts on opening and my preview won't work.
It was working fine before the Xmas holidays and I shut my PC down. I'm having an issue on my Windows 10 Pro PC (version 1803, build 17134.472) with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (version 2019.010.20064) and not being able to use panel preview in Windows Explorer.
